Just four weeks to go and I just want to be settled on board with the real world, and Christmas , left behind. What can I give this Christmas?
This year 6,657 Christmas shoeboxes were donated to The Trussell Trust for distribution in Bulgaria. This is another record and a reminder that there are a lot of you out there that really care about others much less fortunate than yourselves. If the children and adults who will receive the presents this year were able, they'd say a huge thank you to everybody who gave shoeboxes or their time to help sort them. It's really good ...
The last day

A day with the Wintons

This evening we went out for a meal. Small portions, but with a starter- leek and tomato tart, a main - sea trout and asparagus, and desert - gooseberry fool, it was a very satisfying meal.
