... We thought this time we would see a bit of Europe as we didn't stop last time, so here we go.

Sunday 8th January 2012
The sky is blue and the sun is shining and it is mild.
We leave home to catch an early train (cheap ticket) from Great Yarmouth to London Liverpool Street and via the underground book in at Kings Cross Travel Lodge, nearest and cheapest hotel to St Pancreas International station.

... been and found my way around... I get lost in England! I also forgot how people in England don't say hello to each other... that was a bit strange on the tube! I was still in 'G'day' mode! It is going to be hard to adjust back to normal life.....

The Party

Saturday 17th, the leaving party at the Garden House. We arrived at 6pm to set up the gaff. By 6:15pm we had hung up the aussie flag etc... so it was a case of waiting for everybody to arrive.

The party was great, the GH was pretty packed and the convo and laughs were flowing. We would like to thank everybody who came along for the party. We really appreciate all the good lucks and cards people ...

Hello everyone. This is the first entry of the blog! I thought I would take this time to explain where we are so far with the move to OZ!

Just shy of our seven month mark in Ireland we decided move on. At a turtle's pace. Crossing three countries, we covered 510 kilometres via ferry, train, foot, underground and taxi over a 15 hour period.

To kick start the day we checked off one of Leann’s first timers as we boarded Irish Ferries' 'the Ulysses’ to cruise over the Irish Sea (later learning it is one of the world’s roughest crossings) and bid farewell to Ireland ...
