... and I came away with a wonderfully bright torch that is small enough to go in my pocket - ideal when I am walking Treacle in the dark.
Tomorrow I start to head towards the borders, I shall miss being called 'pal' which I thought was only used for men, but obviously not, I shall miss the delightful accent and the wonderful scenery and even the haggis, but there are exciting things ahead of me and at least I can (and will) come back to Scotland another year.

Very cool narrow roads with huge hedgerows no shoulders....just a wall or a massive hedge full of tall grass...Its like driving down green hallways......I keep getting me legs whipped when I hug the corners. Great driving...as long as no one is coming the other way. Found the road outside of Kirk Michael and off I went up this little narrow paved road.
