      ... fortress on a peninsula high above the sea. What a fabulous site to defend! Had a good look over all the buildings and took lots of photos of the cliffs extending in either direction.       ... to check in properly and have a nap. We were out to it straight away! A couple of hours later we were feeling a bit more refreshed. Lara kindly offered to cook us spag bol for dinner so we grabbed some £1 ciders and had a feast in the hostel.       ... We took it easy that night and ate a tasty meal at the restaurant of the hotel. I asked for a variation of a menu item, so had salmon and salad. It was a tough decision as some of the dishes on offer were: Speyside Haggis with Arran Beetroot and Onion Relish; Macsweens of Edinburgh Vegetarian Haggis, or Speyside Haggis Neeps and Tattie Pasty.       ... lot did the run....hell cleared the road for me. I was on the big ass jumbo tron..... bucket list .... check lol. Seems they liked I was from Canada....I also reminded all the sports bike riders to get rid of the panties......less they were gals of course to which the crowd let of a bit of a laugh.....my head was huge on the screen.....and I was having a bad hair day....sigh.....no open mockery so I think I did Canada ...

      ... island but there are lil roads criss-crossing everywhere.

      Very cool narrow roads with huge hedgerows no shoulders....just a wall or a massive hedge full of tall grass...Its like driving down green hallways......I keep getting me legs whipped when I hug the corners. Great driving...as long as no one is coming the other way. Found the road outside of Kirk Michael and off I went up this little narrow paved road.
