    ... br> Mom, Jen and Dale "saved' the barn by moving it off the dirt and putting in new (old-style) chinking compound. I hope you like the pictures. Barns are special places.

    After some tearful goodbyes after a too-short visit, Bob and I are on the road again, on our way to Idaho to see Stephanie and Adam! We get to stay there for 3 days and 4 nights!

    (The Ebony picture was taken at the Thompson Park entrance at Hwy 41 and Rte 2 where the grass grew taller than Ebony's back.)

    ... seriousness. "Double Trouble on the Prairie" had us all laughing at the perfectly positioned tongue-in-cheek melodrama that I would imagine has always been a feature of that tiny, charming theatre.

    ... rear discovered, with lagging calves and some cows even laying down for a rest with the herd still plodding on around them. All were rewarded by the stunning sight of lush green grass emerging from the dusty scrub as we topped the hill and reached our final destination, creating a postcard scene, happy cows and lots of smiling but achy cowboys.
