... experience, for sure. But survive we did.

Not being of "flatlander" stock, we didn't appreciate the Wyoming-rated breeze, but I guess that doesn't have much to do with it. Fiona handles well, even with Sooby tracking closely in her tire tracks. I could go on, as I usually do, but it's been a long day...

... they do fail and get far behind the other teams. There are often when the horse they jump off of can’t slow down and just tramples the rider. This is all done without a saddle! We both thought this was the highlight of the fair.

... rock indeed! Then we drove 400 miles or so to get close to the Craters of the Moon. Breakfasted at Denny's on the way (good grub) and tea at Taco Bell ( not such good grub) but a first time for me at both and a Taco Bell first for Lin. We'll go back to Denny's!
