Departure Day

A travel blog entry by sleightstravels on Feb 07, 2015

All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. Good service as usual and through check in without issue. No question about the skis, boots or hand bags. Bumped into Jim Humphries in the check in queue, pleased they are not headed to our resort - the sauna could have been ...

... next week... Got to see most sights of Bristol, and the suspension bridge. Beautiful city to say the least. I'm grateful to be here. Jane Austen lived in Bath for two periods of her life and had an intimate knowledge of the city and its social conventions and characters. This knowledge is particularly reflected in two of her ...

I'm sitting in seat 76 in carriage A on the 11.30 to London Paddington. The very last seat on the train. It’s the reserved seat I was allocated. I could sit in one of the dozens of other seats on this mostly empty train. But I’ll stay here. This is my seat. And this is the quiet corner of the quiet carriage.

The view is not so quiet. I’m looking at the carcass of a concrete ...

... make you sign in/out. No big deal. When I turned over the page, I knew I could answer 3 of the 4 questions and picked the better two and just went at it. I had wrapped them up within the last five minutes and was just adding finishing touches towards the end. One turned out to be a bit of a rant about the greed of humanity, but I digress.

Afterwards again we didn't talk about the exam if we didn't have to, and decided as a group we should go ...
