We got on the Freeway for a while and then took local roads into Chico. Chico is a very cool college town but at 92 degrees, not very cool today. Toured the town and campus and made friends with a scooter girl (joined ...
... gift and the joy of the moment.
I ended up camping in a town called Stagecoach. The first person I met was AJ, the Stagecoach market owner. I handed him my card and told him what I was doing. Instantly, he treated me like a good friend. He has a special book that is reserved for passing "Adventurers" and he requested that I sign it. That was so cool. spent a lot of time in Olympia, but now have settled in Montesano.
