    ... good person. He told of a 750 mile ride he once did for a children's charity and of how fighting the fierce head on winds puts you spiritually close to those you need most. For him, it was his deceased grandfather who stayed on his shoulder and in his heart and wouldn't let him quit.

    ... Even though I couldn't stand to live in one, it was nice to have practically the whole community come and welcome the riders. They had the mayor, junior ROTC, gifts (I got a ridiculously cool american legion trucker hat) and a BBQ for us at the American Legion.
