The day after.
... any kind of special occasion, most groups spanning three generations. The problem with being a party of one is they serve you very quickly, I have all the time in the world and want to quietly people watch and write in my journal, as I am doing now.

Moving onto Wales

Luckily a nice Welsh man stopped to help us saying " you look lost". Indeed we were. So as he kindly helped us and me holding a sandwich in one hand and trying not to look at his mouth that had more missing teeth than not, I was kind of put off my lunch ha. ... we were going, often indicating we were going off-road. After much consternation on my part that we were going to end up in a ditch on the side of the road and end up missing the game, we eventually found the second pub of the day. And it was worth it. Dr. Hogg arrives this evening and we will no doubt have some dinner, several drinks and catch up on the last 13 years or so.
I should explain the Dr. Hogg, aka Hoggy, aka David B. Hogg as he was registered at a conference in Perth some time in the mid nineties. Somehow D.B. was interpreted as Dr. and de Koning as Dekonking ... The names have stuck ever since.
