      ... Little did we know it was rockin'! There was almost no parking, and we were offered a spot that was like 4 blks away for $35....umm, no thanks.       ... it to the Upper West Side aiming to get to a large-shoe shop that had been recommended to me as having wide fitting shoes. Alas they didn't have any dress shoes that suited but I picked up a good pair of runners and a pair of casuals. The aim of the day was to take a Circle Line River cruise but shoes took too long and so we headed to the Central Park Zoo.       ... style cheese ) with onion and pepper a local specialty. There are many beer or wine cooked specialties all are delicious. My favorite is the roast goose. Dessert is obviously the apple strudel.
