    ... seven days which gives us unlimited access to busses and trains. We have used this continually to visit: Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, Central Station, Flat Iron Building and Times Square.     ... Little did we know it was rockin'! There was almost no parking, and we were offered a spot that was like 4 blks away for $35....umm, no thanks. We ended up finding one right next to the boardwalk for $15. We headed straight for Mac's pizza. I got the pizza I was craving and Jacinda got a cheesesteak.     ... doing the Empire State Building. Ruby shopped at Forever 21 until she dropped, but we also managed to get to the NY Public Library and saw the Charles Dickens exhibition. We had dinner at a pokey upstairs Japanese Sushi restaurant followed by a selection of rich cakes to complete the birthday celebrations.     Hotel with benefits

    ... and had everything from salad and pancakes to Kim Chi.

    However, the hotel was connected to a shopping mall, with a large supermarket in the basement. This made picnicking and inexpensive snacks a breeze. The supermarket actually had some kosher food.

    A double room was 75 euros a night.
