    ... Little did we know it was rockin'! There was almost no parking, and we were offered a spot that was like 4 blks away for $35....umm, no thanks. We ended up finding one right next to the boardwalk for $15. We headed straight for Mac's pizza. I got the pizza I was craving and Jacinda got a cheesesteak.     ... the rail line itself. The walk was really nice with really great view of the New York streets and lower Manhattan. However there is a lot of apartments around the area that you can see right into their homes. Subash took a lot of very nice photos, and I would recommend whoever goes to New York to go here. We ended our walk near "Magnolia Bakery" where we got our last cupcake before heading to a burger joint where we had some nice burgers. The day was coming to an end. ...

    ... some steamed dumplings, we had chicken with chinese broccoli, and a beef with noodles and scallions.

    Dessert just sort of appeared. It was an intricately carved quarter watermelon decorated with even more fantastic oranges.

    Dinner for two, we drank tea not beer, was $ 45 USD and I finished in time to see the game.

    ... we choose Nepal-side base camp, we needed to identify the appropriate time to go considering weather conditions. There are two main trekking seasons for reaching EBC, Autumn (Sept - Nov) and Spring (Mar - May). Trekkers are permitted to enter Sagarmatha National Park in Winter and Summer, but, heavy snow and rain respectively make for less than optimal hiking.
