... timed Katy and Glenn this morning whilst at Andrews. Stopped off at a farmshop cafe shop where we had some home made soup which was lovely. Spoke to a lady who made jams in different flavours and I bought a strawberry, rhubarb and ginger. Also had a latte and a free water. Followed instructions to Pentwater but stopped again on way at a rest area as Geoff was in need of a sleep. Then carried on and arrive at ...

To summarize a few travel tips we learned from our experience in Ireland and UK: The weather can be cold, we visited in September and it was colder than we expected. Pack layers, I brought some heavy sweaters but I wish I would have packed my lightweight parka. I also had gloves and ear warmers which were helpful for our boat trip to Michael Skellig and for walking at night. Definitely bring a rain jacket and an umbrella, it will rain. Trench coats are popular ...

... pretty moderate for most of the year, Ireland averages a temp of 50 degrees with winters sticking around 40 degrees. England is much of the same average temp is 60 degrees, summers reach near 70 and winters stay about 40. Scotland further north into the Highlands can see winter temps near freezing.

Since we will be traveling for two weeks and moving around a lot, we are packing about a weeks worth of clothes and will have our laundry ...

... Airbnb in London as it was the most economical option. In London I wanted to be central but also wanted to be somewhat close to the tube that will take us to Heathrow to fly out so we ended up with a rental in Hammersmith area. It will be nice to be in a quiet neighborhood as well.

I’m looking forward to leaving this week and seeing how all of this planning turns out, the adventure is always the most fun!
