    ... the first time we have seen this. They certainly wouldn't be able to do this back home in our nanny state! We finally reached Searsport (just short of Belfast) under heavy pea soup fog - so much for coming here for the views! Checked into a cheap motel with a wifi connection that was almost non existent & useless. The only place open was the takeaway in the gas station across the road, so ate pretty poorly that night.     ... awesone, by a large river - and off the trail. The ground was soaking wet, but the new MSR NX3 did not allow anything in! Finally a dry night.....so happy to be rid of the Big Agnes UL 3!! Woke up late, headed back to the town, to eat breakfast....and after eating breakfast, the bike would not start!
