    ... didn't think I was up to it. If I was having these wobbles and doubts then I obviously wasn't the person for the job.     GROAN! The best way to see NY is to walk - unfortunately.
    Today most of the museums were closed, but for some strange reason, the rebellious Guggenheim Museum was open. So we caught a cab there, taking Captain, who has strong connections with this museum. There was a very long line snaking along 5th Avenue, and around the corner into
    East 88th Street. How significant ! This was where " Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" lived ! I couldn't remember what number he lived at, though.
