    ... This traditional restaurant seats 750 and has a huge shopping area of gifts, baking, and candy. The table next to us was home to about 30 Amish women, out for the evening.     ... if we were closer - the smoke created a dense fog. Pennsylvania - gas 2.09!! 4:57 - Grove City. Kings restaurant next door for dinner - great Rueben and fries for dinner. Best Western Motel - great price this year - $67. Elephant and Castle closed for renos - DAMN. Supposed to be some ice tomorrow - will try to get up and out early before it hits. 554.8 ...

    ... lines to contend with but traffic was light and I could at least drive slowly and absorb the splendour. It truly is awesome, mile after mile.

    It was meant to be a short day but by the time we stopped for photos plus this and that and something else it was nearly 4:30 before we got to a campsite for the night. Found a nice spot on Lake Couchiching which is separated from Lake Simcoe by a narrow neck of land.

    ... I had a shot on the quad bike. The next day we went to explore Bracebridge the nearest town to here. We walked around the little shops there and got some milkshakes.
