The Cay to the Caribben

A travel blog entry by skdude on Jun 09, 2014

The Tobago Cays are a collection of islands and reefs protected as a national park. A key attraction of this particular marine park is supposed to be the Coral reefs which provide a breakwater enabling many boats to anchor safely in the middle of the islands. ... on a rock!! It moved only to give us a better view of itself, yes it was a male! We went onboard Charlie ll for a delicious glass of wine( something else we haven't been able to obtain recently!) and nibbles. Great hospitality and company!! Hi Guys & Girls

Update due as we slowly work our way north

25/12 Phil cooked a 10lb+ turkey on xmas day with all the trimmings, excellent and great value as we had 3 lunches and 3 dinners out of the turkey

26/12 we sailed the 12 miles round to the stunning embayed southern coast of Grenada and anchored in the bay behind Hog Island, stunning, surrounded by mangroves and then trees up the side of hillside with a little 50m beach and a ...
