... then it has gotten progressively better as we traveled south. I can't explain this but the trees were not changing in Canada except near the border. As we get further into Maine it has been more colorful. I didn't download the pictures from the camera before it went back with CW. So I missed the pictures of Kip and the few I took of Acadia. ... is by foot, bicycle, or public bus. However, if you drive a car, there are many places to park throughout Portland, either in garages for an hourly rate or along the streets. The good thing is, parking meters are free in Portland after 6:00PM, so if you’re lucky enough to get a spot downtown or don’t mind parking a small distance away and walking, plan on paying a dollar or less for parking!
