Tuesday - We skyped Darrens family then met up with the couple we were going to move in with. They are living further west about 24 miles in Eagle...we met them at loaded joe's then went for a walk with their dog to the park. The weather turned and we were in pretty hard rain so headed back...this place is even beautiful in the rain.

Once we came back down, we were in Aspen and it was 1pm so we decided to have a late lunch. Whilst driving around to find parking, Darren glimpsed down a street and saw a bear!! I guess it's not too uncommon to have bears around but by the time we could turn around safely, it was long gone.
... Once we got home Darren spent a few hours sketching some cool pictures and I cooked dinner with the smallest piece of counter space ever!! It's going to be interesting preparing meals but I'm sure it'll be fun!!
Another evening of Criminal Minds...we think this will be how most of our nights are spent!!
We also found out that they have vacuums that we can borrow so that's another thing we can save money on!! YAY!

Hehas inspired me to take on photography and specially black and white photography. I discover some of his pictures in a bookshop in Berkeley 40 years ago and I was totally taken by his interpretation of landscapes.

Then descended the other side, to Aspen. Elegant ski town, reminded us of Park City in Utah and Noosa in Qld. A guy we talked to told us the billionaires had pushed the millionaires out of Aspen!
