I remembered how much I love day trips with a jaunt out to Brighton. Trudy, Alan and Trudy's friend Lucy met us there for a day of exploring the beach, pier and streets. The next few days were spent washing our travel stuff, settling back in our apartment (and enjoying our comfort, especially the clean toilets & the nice shower with pressure!), food shopping and cooking (first time in 6 months!), as well as strolling through Brighton, basically trying to get back to our routine.
