      ... anyone without some nervousness. Mostly though, I'm excited. I know it's going to be an amazing 4 1/2 months that I'm sure will teach me a lot about myself and will give me experiences of a lifetime.

      I'll try to keep this up fairly regularly with posts about what I'm experiencing, what I'm seeing and what I'm feeling. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity and can't wait to see what's in store with me over the next 4 months! ...

      The day started with a minor flight delay but a short two hour flight into Atlanta for Jared. Natalie was waiting with open arms for a long overdue hug! Our first stop was to the Park Tavern at Piedmont Park. Where we sat under the covered patio by the fire while watching ice skaters try to show off their best moves.       ... town for a few hours. Jym wanted to see a jeopardy sort of game between some of his faves and so we managed to find that and sit in on some of it. Terry Gilliam was also there but only made a brief appearance. We then spent the rest of the evening just looking around the main floors of the Hyatt and Marriott.       ... all the amenities and furniture built in, with all the costs, including the use of the gym, bring it on. At the end of the meeting, and with all the research that Val had done before we left, we signed up. I'll send you the address as soon as we have confirmation that we'll be moving in, and with the intention to move in one 1st February, when it's available. Exciting times!

      I had to transfer across all 5 terminals in a short time. Luckily the train is quick.

      Allowed for time to get a drink in the lounge before boarding.

      The Delta plane, even though it had lie-flat seats, was uncomfortable. It felt like I was in a coffin while laying down and I could barely fit between the armrests with my arms squished up against them. It was long enough, but it was even hard to sleep sideways. It was not a restful ...
