Day 8 back on the road

We made it to Calvary Chapel Chattanooga's 11AM service and met Kevin and his sister Julie and scratched our heads a bit with pushing the Emotional Aide Dog scam at church. It somehow didn't seem like a good idea. It wasn't roasting out but it seemed like it might get a bit too hot to leave Ricky in the car so Julie, in an act of supreme kindness, offered to take care of Ricky while we went to church.

... strange. And the mall was massive. Before going in we ate at Johnny rockets. We had a really lovely burger and it was a traditional American fast food style bar. The guy who gave us the talk was really funny too. Then we went into the coca cola theatre were they put a 5 min feel good film on. It ...

Then, the cool thing was their trip ended up taking them to a lot of places I had already planned out. I got a lot of ideas from them and tons of tips and advice. I am fully stealing so many of her ideas… her idea for a blog… excursions like ATV rentals and rafting ...

The next weekend, Val and I ditched her job and we drove out to Columbia, arriving just in time for a catch up with Jill and Fred before we headed out to family dinner. We went to a restaurant called Inakaya, where the food arrived in a boat! A brilliant selection of dishes and very tasty overall meal. We ate, drank and were merry and it was so lovely to see everyone. The next day, we all had a lovely day, dropping off our rental car, having lunch, ...
