While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. I was so giddy for the Atlanta-bound flight. The arrival area at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is probably my favorite of all airports I've been to. You get on one of the three long escalators heading up to the area.  There are murals of children playing around fountains, and their smiles and energy are seemingly ...

... 5am. Hannah warned us that car break ins are common in Atlanta and even though she lives in a quiet area we moved all of our bags into the house before we were able to finally crash.

In the morning, I had breakfast with Larkin and Hannah while Brian got more sleep. Around 2:45pm we hit the road again, aiming for New Orleans.

I'm typical Atlanta style, we hit traffic: even at 2:45 on a Tuesday. But it was painless and we were making ...
