Back again !
Today was a slow day in terms of the time spent on the go. We were up and in to breakfast at 7:30 as the "Farm Lodge" hosts serve breakfast from 7 - 8:30 only. Had another good breakfast, getting us off to a good start to our day. Then back to the room to get cleaned up and ready to go.

... Britain. 1100s. It was built against the cliff the castle was on and it had rooms cut into the rock. Amazing. The castle was good too. Only parts of the gatehouse was medieval but the building on the top - a 1700s building for the very rich - was great. It is now a museum. You can hire the place for parties and weddings etc, so I'm thinking of my 60th birthday! We travelled back to pick up Dave and headed to ...
Here is my long overdue message to say hello to all you guys who I stopped and chatted with at some length on the path. There were others whose names I did not get, but it is always nice to stop, talk, share stories. Even though our paths will probably never cross again. And thanks for any donations you have given, either on the path, or online; I have had a couple of anonymous donations, so thanks if it were yours.

Dry-pack done with the Highlander and MWH day bag. Domestic Vince has done a stellar job with the rolling and the folding for ultralight, weight-watchers slim, low-fat, flash backpacking. Pics to prove.
Amended plans by Ms. Lara is 3 nights in Marrakesh with day trips and camps in the desert, late bus/train to Casablanca to pick up Helene on the Thursday at stupid o'clock (note to tank up on coffee) ...

I love the canal boats, we watched them going thru the locks, it's very interesting.
It's our last day before we head off.
We are so lucky to have friends like Melvyn and Maggie, we have enjoyed ourselves completely staying with them and I'd like to thank them for all they have done for us.
