... the other family which had started from their home at 3:30 pm. by this time, received that SMS that the flight has been delayed by 70 minutes. Everyone went to the CCD and spent next 30 minutes chatting and drinking coffee over samosas, doughnuts and sandwiches. checkin, security check etc were quick, security guys took out the spare battery cells and disposed them in dustbin. Visited the crossword bookstore and bought some books. now ...

... and got a 1 hour train to Conoor... where we
got a 9 hour train to Bangalore... MY LORDY it was a nightmare-- because we
hadn't booked in advance- we had to get non a/c second class tickets.... of
course it was all booked up we and these two girls who were doing the same
as us - Esther (completely mental... lives in Devon!) and Laurie.... who is soooo
spaced- but love them ...
