I have been home since the end of May when I returned with Justin after his visit to us in Shanghai. Jim was able to join us in Halifax, NS to celebrate Justin's graduation, and again at the beginning of July for a short vacation.

Tuesday September 10.........We were staying on the top floor of the Clarion. We awoke in the morning to a huge thunderstorm. Lightning everywhere and the thunder shook the building. It was raining sideways. There was no real rush today. We were about 7 hours from home. It eventually stopped raining but it remained misty and grey. It has been an emotional two days with no time to blog, just to take everything in before I left. I woke up yesterday knowing I had to say goodbye to some very special girls who have become my sisters, and my aunt and uncle who have become much more than the typical aunt and uncle.
