After a bumpy passage across. We arrived at the northern port of Burnie. We were on a trip to a world heritage nature reserve. We had a very entertaining guide and driver, they were a bit like Morecambe and Wise, and talked over the Mike to each other. They were very informative and passionate about their island. We first visited Sheffield, a Wild West looking town, but famous for murals over nearly every ...

Today was my day for a frivolous activity. We had booked a Neighbours tour. After walking off the ship, we bought a tram ticket that will last 4 years!! He also ...

We spoke to Jack, Janes younger son who had not gone as he had left his mobile at home so missed out on hearing about the meeting point etc!
This Ye Olde Whyte Hearte pub dates back to 1603. The beer was nice as was the Steak & Ale pie. Hamble has about 6 pubs all very close to each other ...

... strolling around dropping in here and there to see what is happening. Back to cabin to get ready for the evening. Captains cocktail night, I have to say the drinks were a far better quality and more plentiful than other cruise ships we've been on. There was red or white wine, g&t, scotch as well as something called a soft drink ( not sure what that is), anyway as it's free we certainly got a ...
