Emma has her first paying job. She wears a pink hat and shirt and sells The Pink Sheet outside Saratoga Springs race track. She is learning very quickly that earning money can be hard work. We plan to leave here at the end of August which doesn't give us much time so we will pick up JC in ...

... and camp set up, I am confident Alex now has the skills to do well in the woods on his own. Tired, we retired to the tent and watched a movie we rented along the way. Nothing like watching a good suspense drama in pitch dark woods to peek your senses all night. Alex, please don't stab me with our knife if I go out to pee in the ...

    First Stop

We're packed and ready to get on the road. We head to Saratoga, New York. Our hotel, the Saratoga Downtowner is a funky place. There's a 4 x12 foot pool in the middle of the motel with a greenhouse roof over top. We walked around this quaint town stopping at shops and riding the carousel. At our dinner spot, the Circus Cafe there was popcorn on the table for a snack. Will, Mei and I enjoyed a swim in the funky pool. ...
