Day 1 Trapesing Torony

... shlep with certain back packs though. Although we were assured the area was 'a bit dodgey' we failed to see more than a handful of people talking to themselves, only one shouting to themselves and only three pieces of litter (a plague by Toronto standards). Cabbagetown is apparently where they used to grow cabbages and nothing more exciting than that, happily there's no lingering smell of cabbage and it's a fine place to stay.

... you have a pre-booked ticket or not. Here they work off a first in, best dressed system and make lines to each bus. The next bus came 30 mins later and we went home.
It had been a great afternoon.... however in the rush getting off the bus i left my brand new gloves on the seat.... so sad. Lucky they weren't expensive, but they were immediately missed the second we were out in the cold night air. Too many layers to keep track of.

... fried chicken, pizza, cakes and a bowl of lettuce with croutons. Only one slice of pizza was allowed each, so we got creative with the taco shells and fries, the I took my Bernie and ********** for another slice of pizza, which worked yay. Jase enjoyed the chicken and ate his share of the bottomless tub. After dinner we ventured out into the now haunted streets to make the most of our hour before others could get in. As we explored this street nothing remarkable stood out for really cute cheese stores, no fresh organic fruit or vegetables at the grocer's store and only an odd South American style cafe with empanadas but nothing that suggested fresh farmers market style of food. We figured that since it wasnt the weekend perhaps this was it and there wasnt anything good to see or buy. ... Friday with the goal of making it to Pittsburg, a 6.5 hr drive away. It took us 11 hrs. We borrowed a GPS from Xavi’s friends which proved to be worse than useless, in addition the settings were such that we were avoiding all tollroads so we ended out in the middle of bum**** nowhere Virginia before we realised something was horribly wrong and fixed this. I have to say driving on the right (wrong) side of the road took some getting used to, but I had no problems.
