It is nearly spring here in Canada and most of the snow has melted. The locals are happy to see the end of Winter but I must admit that I am sad to see it go. I have loved being out and about in the cold air and especially walking when it has been snowing, with the snow flakes falling on my face and in my hair. It is so quiet and peaceful when it is snowing. Our warm winter down coats have helped keep out the cold and I can honestly say I have only felt really cold when I was out ...

... the cost of fuel and accom. We usually spend an average of $70 a day, although NYC was a lot higher. We headed out for dinner and in the morning walked around for a couple of hours. There is a delicious market there we all wanted to buy everything from there! There isn't a lot to do in Toronto so we weren't to worried we weren't there for long. It's got a lot of nice food places and probably night life but touristy not so ...

By then it was noon and I braced myself for driving in Toronto. I knew it was time for an oil change (8000+ km), so I followed my ...

... are narrow. There were street upgrades going on everywhere and many streets were either blocked or the number of lanes were reduced so there was gridlock everywhere. The indoor parking lots do not have enough clearance for my truck so we drove around for quite a while looking for outdoor lots and there were very few. I guess this makes sense because why would anyone in Toronto own a truck? LOL. On top of it all, the high buildings seemed to either block my GPS reception ...

... to miss home (specifically Matt.)

I started my day out driving in unplanned rush hour to the airport then had my roommate driving my car back (thank you Katelyn.) Due to God's grace our flight was delayed which gave us ample time to make it through the airport. We had no issue with this short two hour flight into Canada! Our plan was to travel into the city and explore due to our seven hour lay over. With our flight ...
