I have also made the decision to create a blog for a couple of reasons, mainly as a way for me to write down the experiences I am having them, fresh in my memory so I can look back in years to come on this once in a lifetime trip.     Well - after a rather tedious journey out of Birmingham we finally reached Nottingham to be reunited with my sis and her husband ( Nico and Simon). We last saw them 2 years ago when they visited NZ so it is awesome to be together again. We said quick hellos then headed out for dinner - lots of chatting and catching up.     ... is important, as they had a TB outbreak a few years ago.

    We then get to go in for breakfast :D

    Between milkings we have various jobs such as, drenching, putting up fences, scrapping up the yards, cleaning the cubicles, tagging and injecting calves, fixing cows feet, dehorning calves and other stuff we cant remember. Lunch is at 12.30 so we can get the cows in at 1.30. Did we mention there are no motorbikes here! So we have to walk to their paddock ...

    ... of our trip before catching the ferry back to England tonight, we'd got a week back in England before setting off to France and the start of the Spring/Summer leg. The ferry left from Rotterdam, so we got up and drove there and had a bit of a look around before catching the ferry.     How Lucky am I? That last bit above is mine not John's; but I do get these thoughts! Am I mad? I must be.
