      ... we walked through the town, across the Green and through a covered bridge to start our hike. We followed the wide and easy carriage trails for a while then veered off onto the aptly named Precipice Walk. Well, there was a bit of a drop on one side, but hardly 'hold your breath' stuff.       ... watch this event which occurs twice each day. It was quite an amazing thing to watch. I'll bet it is even more spectacular when the spring runoff is at its highest.

      ... br> Yesterday's fine weather was almost duplicated today, except that we woke to a frost and a distinct nip in the air. The car's windshield (gerrit) was frozen over too and many a credit card could be seen scratching at the glass outside the motel.
