Great little quirky pub and rooms. Awesome customer service. Room was a renovated attic, lots of history.

Very accommodating staff, adequate rooms, great pub and restaurant. Visit Aldermaston and Tadley and stay at the Hind's Head if you want to get a feel for the real England.

We landed at about 6.30pm, a little behind schedule but we were happy to be there. The plane flight was interesting to say the least, those poor air hosties are underrated. They do an amazing job and have to put up with a lot.

Getting into the UK was also an experience, cattle class doesn't even cover it. Once we got through, got our …

... it was time to do some exploring. Did you know that there are only three bridges in the world that have bridges lined by shops and restaurants on both sides? One is the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, one is Ponte Rialto in Venice and the third is Puntney Bridge in Bath. I have now seen two out of three of these bridges, guess it's time to head to Florence to complete the trifecta! While walking across the Puntney bridge, we found a TINY little coffee ...

Getting to the closer islands from Mahe, the main island, is quite easy but can be a bit expensive, we thought. Cost us around $75 for a round trip from Mahe to Praslin by fast ferry. Not sure there are cheaper options. Know that there are more expensive options as you can fly or take a helicopter. Some of the islands only ...
