Great little quirky pub and rooms. Awesome customer service. Room was a renovated attic, lots of history.

Very accommodating staff, adequate rooms, great pub and restaurant. Visit Aldermaston and Tadley and stay at the Hind's Head if you want to get a feel for the real England.

We landed at about 6.30pm, a little behind schedule but we were happy to be there. The plane flight was interesting to say the least, those poor air hosties are underrated. They do an amazing job and have to put up with a lot.

Getting into the UK was also an experience, cattle class doesn't even cover it. Once we got through, got our …

It was an amusing little place and contributed significantly to my sense of having stepped into the pages of Harry Potter. I had chosen this hotel, because, on the map, it seemed to be fairly close to Windsor Castle. Not too far to walk. I was right. The castle is a vast building and covers about 20 something acres but the main gate is about ...

... exciting destinations. What adventures await me? I booked these flight on August 30th, so I've waited a very long time it feels. Hope the flight isn't too long and boring, or worse, filled with screaming kids. Its weird to spend 12 hours on a plane. Obviously I've done it before and coped, i hope it will be blissful, films, books, tv, music, food and wine. Ideal. See you there ...

And of course, WiFi in the room meant Kaitlin was out for the count Mom and I headed out to London to fight the Jet Leg and explore the city! The Queen declined our invite to afternoon tea! But we had fun walking the streets and seeing the sites! Tomorrow we head to Turkey where the real adventure ...
