    ... technology! And i remembered the one bit conan was unsure about!! Shower time and off we pop to tea again the lovely hotel owners recommend a place n it was the nicest pad thai ive had yet! Conan ate his then had to order the same as me as well, so good. Had a Chang and Singla (not sure if thats the correct name) local beers. It all came to 450b so thats approx $7.50 each!!!! Sooo cheap!! Full belly's and chats of the plans of the next day of our trip done... Bed time YAWN! ...

    Well today's say started at 3.30am with sever stomach cramps.... Looks like it was my turn. Even though I'd been mildly unwell all week it had obviously stepped it up a notch. I blame the lunch at 'the plate'..... It tasted funny So a fairly sedate day was had by all. I didn't attend breakfast at all choosing instead to loll about in bed feeling sorry for myself. I ended up taking the antibiotics we had brought with us from the travel doctor ...

    ... next morning and a bus to Phi Phi! We were delighted it was all sorted and kind of glad that we would get a look at the infamous Patong.

    ... time preparing sauces, creating marinates and cutting herbs and veggies. We used a pestle and mortar to grind our spices in the old-fashion way in order to receive more flavor, as our teacher explained.

    We needed the ingredients for the following dishes:

    • Kaeng Luang Nua Tai (Southern Yellow Curry with Beef)
    • Plaa Thod Rad Prik Saam Rod (Deep-fried Fish topped with 3-flavored sauce)
