... day and just wants to lay down. Constantly. We determinedly battle on. Before first course has arrived Amelia has thrown up again. Back to the room she goes. The rest of the meal was a merry go round of Mansells coming and going, taking it in turns to eat. Emma is flopped over a chair at the end of the table.... The food at least was pretty nice. The night however has to be written off as a bit of a disaster. We all troop back to our respective rooms and cross our fingers for ...

    Phuket, Thailand: Holiday Bliss

... the night Sam and I watched the Australia v Wales rugby match at an Aussie Bar. Good result although I've no idea how we managed to stay awake until 2:30am as we were close to being awake for 44 hours. Sleep that night in our big comfy bed was a wonderful thing!! and you have to walk through the buffet and dining room to access the
pool. The staff were friendly and polite but we both noted that the
hotel guests were grumpy and not very ...

... what they had signed up for with all those crazy Americans! As we would bounce and dance and sing around them and try to get them involved they all took things in a different way. Many of them loved it right away and would sing and dance from the very start but many of them would just stand there at the beginning of the week looking petrified and probably wondering what their parents had signed them up for! :o) But by the end of the week, they were singing about Jesus ...

... for us all to hold onto. A couple of times when we were in the rough bits, I was thrown off the side of the raft into the middle on the floor. The first time it happened I didn't know how to pull myself up because I was laughing and because I didn't want to let go of the rope and be flipped out! The others got a good laugh out of it and we all really enjoyed it. Except that when we'd come to calm spots and be near other rafts, everyone was flicking up water with their ...
