    And there I was, naked, drunk, and floating under the stars . With each gap between waves I thought I was finally at peace with the ocean. Then another wave would come and smack me across the face. It got to the point where I got up, yelled and started letting the waves hit me dead on.     Mustang Island, Texas….. who would ever think a RV would fit down here, and who would ever think we would come down here to find out? As soon as we arrived that first day, we walked down to the beach—we were in high winds, high waves, and higher piles of seaweed on the beaches, but it still was a fun afternoon on the beach. Why are the laughing gulls out in full force? Are they laughing at us?

    ... boardwalk to the beach then he returned to "G/G" to get some towels. The boys played for a while in the sand and a little in the water. After about 30 minutes, we returned to "G/G", cleaned the kids up then they departed for home. It was nice to be with them for a while and the boys got used to us. We'll see how long that lasts.

    Dinner tonight was a catered affair, not great but OK. Overall, the meals this weekend ...

    Rally Day #2

    ... good and the company was too.

    After lunch we drove down the beach a bit. This weekend is SANDFEST and we wanted to see what we could, which was nothing! We will be going back tomorrow along with the couple of thousand others who will probably be here. Bob will not be thrilled, but if he doesn't want to go he doesn't have to, we'll see.

    Rally Day #1

    ... By that time it was almost "Attitude Adjustment" time, so we packed up our dishes and over we went. The rally hall is basically out of our back door (if we had a back door).

    We have a large group here this month and that includes 3 sets of visitors. Dinner was Turkey Tetrazzini. At least I could get mine without the cheese. After dinner some of the attendees ...
