... reason, it's a struggle to get them into the suitcase. I guess I am hoping that my belongings will put themselves in the suitcase!!!

The packing to do list is made, so I guess I need to stop blogging and start packing! I cannot wait to share our travel adventures with you all. I know this trip is going to be AMAZING!!! An adventure awaits and I am ready for it!

To the beginning of the Skyline Drive

No pictures today. The remote to Go Pro died. The ride was generally nice. Started off cool in Ct. and I had to add a couple of layers. I rode 427 Miles today and stopped for lunch. Winchester VA begins the fun part of the ride. Skyline Drive to Roanoke Va. then I jump on I- 81 again to Wytheville VA. Trying Natty Greens English Style IPA from North Carolina. Not bad. More tomorrow and I promise I'll stop for pictures.

We took a detour home since it was a nice day out and we left with plenty of time to be able to do this! We stopped at Dinosaur Land. It's a very small park, but one that was a nice little detour! They have over 40 replica dinosaurs that you walk along and see. There is a sign ...

... more fun than we thought and LOVED finding all the pretty gems, especially some 'purple' amethyst ones and a large one! She ended up with quite a bit of gems!

We were a little tired after all that in the warm sun and went for a late lunch/early dinner about 1/2 hour or more away. After that we took it easy and played a VERY LONG game of Uno in the room until after midnight! ...

... s, yet took time to pick us up. At the trail head, Rock Fish Gap, we met a guy who is biking across the U.S. with a group of friends, to raise money for M.S.. I got his web address from him, we talked for a bit, and then he took off to meet up with his support crew. Funny thing, on my last thru-hike in 2008, we met some kids that just started a cross country bike ride. We met them at the same exact spot, and they were also leaning against the same section of guard ...
