We have enjoyed our stay here and it has been real quiet except for the weekends, when all the locals take advantage of the scenery and weather. It is good to see people out and enjoying nature. We will be moving on tomorrow to Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, Va.

... round trip. It was nice to get out and hike as we hadn't done much in the last few weeks. I really needed it as the Amish Baked goods had done a number on me:))
We also drove several miles along the Skyline and enjoyed the beautiful views.

We have been on the road over 100 days and are really enjoying our trip. Hope to be home the first of October unless we see some place else we have to go.

And remember -- Life is Good!!

I enjoy a healthy multigrain chicken sandwich and some chocolate milk. The café is filled with mums and bubs and families enjoying baked goods and lunch. ...

The cheapest wine on the list was $24 bottle. After that, we just bought one tasting at each winery. The wines were good, but not, at least to ...

... June 09 2014 Woke up to rain...and lots of it......so I rolled back over and went back to sleep. Did this two more times. When it finally did stop raining, I got up and packed up......Blackberry milk shakes on my mind....and only 10 miles til I get to them! We passed a week long section hiker group, one of them was sick and was suffering bad. His buddy made the hike to the WaySide and dropped his own pack off, then ran back to carry his buddies for him. After ...
