... I'll be okay. It takes most of my reserve but I make it (without lying on the sand or crying, as all my instincts are telling me to do). Rounding the top, I follow the sloping track back down, my legs speeding up in a way that feels deceptively easy. ... for a night prowl/bat watch. The weather was pretty mouldy and we felt very British sitting in the vast park pretty much alone for our picnic.
