    This morning we walked the 5km's to the train station, bought tickets for and eventually boarded the train to Plzen... (1 hr 15min train for $10.. Bargain!)

    ... so we all headed into the brewery for the tour.
    The tour stated off with a beer! An excellent way to start a tour. It was called Champ, one of their lower alcohol percentage beers. This tour would be in the Germany language only so Manu will translate as best she can. We watched a short video on the history of the brewery while finishing our beers.     ... Sound gross. Salzberg was lovely but it was a long day for just an hour. We saw nationalities from everywhere. From a genuine Austrian playing a harp in the gardens to some guys who looked like Incas playing wooden flutes etc. lots of beggars too. Such a crowded place.     ... us want to pack up the cases and un pack. Took off at 9 for Salzberg. It was 3 1/2hours to get there then 4 back. We were hungry and tired although had a couple of Nana naps on the way. Passed the little town in Austria called Pentling where Pope Benedict was born. (Bit of trivia for you) .
