... we checked out a free local comedy night. We were the first ones to arrive (they changed the start time) and to get us to stay they bought us some free beers. The first guy was terrible but the next girl wasn’t too bad. The third guy was so bad that not even the free beer could make us stay and we sneaked out none to subtly… We also headed back to the High Line and Chelsea Market one weekend – such a great spot!

... was plenty of time to go during the game. There was lots of noise and things to watch on the big screens but not a lot of football!
It wasn't looking good for the Jets and we left after half time as we had experienced being at a NFL game and that we did enjoy, however we were very cold and a nice warm bus ride back to New York was well received. Home to the apartment for a restful ...

... for myself. I went right up to the seventh floor, and loved how the escalators on the upper floors were still the old wooden type . Fun!

Just up the street a bit is the Empire State Building - it wasn't raining, so we could walk there.
We didn't intend to go to the observation deck, as we'd already been to the Top of the Rock, but we did want to see the foyer. As we walked in the door I gasped at the beautiful Art Deco-ness of it all!
