... The Hills Are Alive". You wouldn't fret looking like an idiot, because only the cows would be watching. That's the main industry at Gimmelwald, farming cows. The town is VERY tiny. Their park was about 10'x8' with 2 opposing benches. I agree with Steve that it's worth a quick visit, but don't know about that whole "If Heaven Isn't What It's Cracked Up To Be..." thing. On Saturday at 5:50 am I left my house to go to Interlaken for a girls weekend. I let my friends plan the trip, since I usually end up planning most stuff, which is how my weekend came to be as it was. My friends used this thing called "Couch Surfing" (it's a really interesting concept, worth taking a few minutes to look into), and traditionally when you couch surf you stay at someone's house for free. ... and another day of biking around the entire city, we set off at midnight to drive on the Autobahn to Bern. So instead of spending the night on a sleeping train, we took turns driving and sleeping (thank you Alex for the wonderful neck pillow!).



We drove into Interlaken around 9, into GORGEOUS views of mountains and lakes (thanks Jess!!). Because we were pooped from almost no sleep, we spent most of the day sleeping ...

We got off to get on to our last cog train to head to europes highest trainstation - Jungfraujoch! Its now absolutely freezing! One side of tKlein Schneidegg there's huge green pretty valleys in between these alps and the otherside are these huge peaks that ascent at such a steep rate up and up. The train arrives ...
