          ... at the course and it reminded me of the Old Course at St Andrews very flat with a few hills and lots of wispy rough.

          The fact you cannot see all the 200 + bunkers on the course lulls you into a false sense of security which has quickly got you looking for hidden dangers.

          My playing partner today was an American called Seth from Colorado. He was a top bloke and we had a ripper day out on the course and also ...

          Playing with Lars the tallest German I have ever met was fantastic fun. The course was even better than I imagined. Fortunately I was having a day out which made it even better- plenty of pars and even a birdie made it all the more memorable.
