... with the more "official" signage for Sequoia, not the sign we initially stopped at as we drove in through the Kings Canyon/western entrance. We drove through orchards and more drought-"infested" hills as we made our trek toward Los Angeles. We stopped at a Chipotle and ate lunch - it tasted so good! - and kept on our way. The interstates of LA were as expected... traffic-filled, many exchanges, and required ...

... traveling home to Michigan on Monday. It will be so nice to see everyone at home, especially the grandbabies, but it'll be very hard to leave Paul. We don't know when we'll see each other again as I'll be going out on my own tour beginning the 21st of June. But it's all experience, which is needed for us to have our own long-term tour as a team.

Time to sign off for another day.

... we will have to do some "homework" due before the 3 hour class that night from 6-9 PM. Today we had class at the Covell's house in North Hollywood. Karen Covell was a producer who worked in the industry and founder of the Hollywood Prayer Network and her husband Jim was a composer for movies and tv shows (he is currently working on a score for the Veggie Tales series on Netflix. He showed us some and it looked great!).

... free samples of all the flavours in Yogurt Land. Not to mention watching Jumanji when we got home (EAT THE CAKE! - I forgot to tell you about this in a previous entry. Maybe I'll surprise you with a demonstration on your birthday if you're lucky. So I'll keep that story under my hat for now).

Needless to say, I slept like a happy little baby that night.
