... didn't shut the door. So I was a little apprehensive about my belongings. I've heard all sorts of stories about people being robbed while asleep so I decided the most important thing were my passport, credit cards and money. So I slept with them under my pillow. 3 hour drive
to the Great Wall of China. Tried to photograph the amount of traffic. People
everywhere! It makes Chicago look like a small town. Individuals walk at their
own pace. FS & I are alone. I walked up the north or easier side to Tower 3.

also rickety houses with broken shutters.

Recently many churches were restored, and they have a really smart appearance. There are also typical buildings of the 19th century, and of the soviet fundamentalism. All these create an unique picture of the city.

It's interesting how in Irkutsk they respect different periods of their history. ...
