... entrance under the shade. Around noon we headed out to do some wine tasting around Seneca lake. It was a bit nostalgic for me cause we were last here on my birthday a few years back on a trip with my brother to cheer him on during the Wine glass marathon...that was one of my favorite birthday weekends! We went to Glenora and Fulkerson winery and then to a brewery for john. ...

... wind which I was told is not good for Gliding. Good wind ensures that the glider is in the Air for a longer Duration.

There is also an amusement park closeby where children can enjoy, and you also get to see a Big Golf Course, with people trying their shots.

Overall a nice place if you are passing by Elmira, or are visiting Watkins, to add to the places to visit. I doubt anyone would like to travel 4-5 hours to just visit this place.

The south entrance is where the swimming pool is.We had our lunch here, and then started back walking taking the Gorge Trail. Here were some stairs that took us in the caves ultimately ending in the waterfall This was the most crowded area we had seen so ...

... to see the dam after walking from the Gorge Trail but I would have never done the hike just to see that, especially when I could have driven there. If you don’t have much time or can’t handle all the steps at the beginning, I would see the Buttermilk Falls from the lower entrance and then go up to the upper entrance and hike down to see the later falls. The upper half of the gorge trail isn’t as steep and you can see those falls without going up all the steps. ...

... s. We loved this quaint little local's hideaway. The food was amazing, and the service outstanding. After dinner, we rode the last 45 minutes home, getting back a little after 10 o'clock. Tomorrow is a travel day from Watkin's Glen to Two Mile Run County Park in Franklin, PA. It's a short drive, only about 200 miles, but the winding country roads should make for a scenic trip. See you tomorrow from Franklin, PA!
