Our first stop of the day was with Amadeus. This was our first meeting with a GDS (global distribution system). I have a basic knowledge of GDS from several of the courses in my Hospitality and Tourism program, but I was eager to gain a better understanding, and potentially see the system in action. So, for our second service learning class, we went to the slums. The slums we went to however, were definitely not normal slums. I pictured going to slums like the ones right outside my apartment complex.
