... we were even able to help the team make John Cabot University Athletics history. Unfortunately, the season doesn't end completely until the Spring, so we will sadly not be able to participate in playoffs.

... mountains. At the top they have a huge parking area where you have to park and take a shuttle van up to the actual summit. The viewpoints along the way were nice and the road was wide enough so it wasn't nearly as harrowing as the drive up Mt Washington. Mom was thankful for that and so was I. ... short drive off the main road. Very pretty and very easy walk off the road.

We eventually ended up at Lake Champlain where we crossed the bridge and took a short walk to see the Lake Champlain lighthouse. Normally I think you could drive back to it but it was blocked off due to the season closing of the camping area. But the visitor center was still open and a very sweet lady chatted with us and directed us on how to walk to see the lighthouse. Again ...
