... now, surprisingly, on the west coast (albeit a little way inland and at about 4500 feet above sea level). We are currently heading back into San Francisco in the dark. Tomorrow we will be touring around with Jeff for another half day, taking in the local sights as well as across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito. The plan is then to lunch at Sausalito and catch the ferry across the Bay to Fishermans Wharf. tomorrow night is the visit to Alcatraz. More to ...

... trawling Tiffany’s & Macy’s & riding the Hop on - Hop off bus, settling into the new travel rhythm of 3 instead of 2. Wednesday AM & all of Thursday shopping (and I mean ALL of it! LOL) & today, Friday, our morning was spent in one of my fave places in the whole world ‘Muir Woods’…this arvo I simply collapsed – ate lunch at 4pm, pre-packed for tomorrow’s flight & passed out about 6:30 pm (having ...

... riding shotgun in the front of the Tuk Tuks in India. Had lunch in a seafood place at the wharf, Clam Chowder, Shrimp Sandwich with fries for me. Wendy had Fish Tacos with fries. All very good to eat but maybe not for the waistline. Off to Italian just up the road tonight which should be nice. Tomorrow is our big tour day starting with a boat trip to Alcatraz in the morning finishing with a city sights van tour in the afternoon, so looking ...
