... 25 miles from our home near Traverse City to where I worked and lived in the summers at the Hilton Resort. Thank Goodness there’s not much traffic on I75 on a Sunday. In another couple of months, the leaves will turn color, and the drive will be spectacular. I’m excited about living far away from home for the first time in my 18 years.

We were up early today and left the campground by 8 a.m. We are heading to the Upper Peninsula but will stop half way. Made a reservation at a KOA in Roscommon at Higgins Lake. As we get closer to the campground, the scenary ...

Our last night for October was spent in the Camping World in Houghton parking lot, as we needed to get some warranty work done. They have electric hook-up for two campers so it was nice. We did stop for some caches on the way down at Hanson Hills and then did the same in Houghton while we were waiting on the camper. Highly recommend this Camping World to anyone who needs sales or service. They go out ...

When we left October 1, the house was not sold and we had spent so much time on storage and cleaning of the house that we didn't get to do as much in the camper as we wanted. So we just threw things in and figured we would organize along the way. We stopped at the KOA Higgins Lake so we could flush/clean the tanks, fill and just stop somwewhere close for a good nights sleep, considering we didn't get on ...
