... out when I saw a Massey fergenson 135 tractor. Time to meet the family first the brother then mum, gran , papas then dad. All with welcoming arms for me joining them in thanksgiving dinner. The feeling inside felt so grateful and lucky at the same time. Spending time with my friends family talking about travels and things have been happening made me feel part of the family for the day. ... Falls -- which are really, really, really big and totally amazing.

[Left] From this vantage point, if you look back (downriver), you can see the falls on the American Side and watch the "little" boats go up and down the river. The boats only look little from that vantage point; they actually carry nearly 200 people at a time.

... my heart was slamming against my chest from the cold and the fear that we would miss that damn pick up point! We threw ourselves in front of this cab and the driver was so nice, he thought we were crazy to be out in this and that's when I realised that this wasn't normal even for New Yorkers! He dropped us off and we went inside and waited in the foyer to be picked up.

Now here comes the rabbit-hole opportunity I mentioned earlier - we were waiting ...

At the lunch stop there was a mass of pumpkins. Did I mention that Halloween is coming up and the shops are going crazy with pumpkins and Halloween stuff.
