    ... carrying their gear on their bikes (tents, sleeping bags, clothes, etc.)....It was only because Sharon and Julie were supporting the ride that the guys could have made it so far so quickly. The ladies put up with changing hotels every night for 2 weeks, meals in different restaurants every day and a nomadic lifestyle. They did it with good hearts and great cheer. The guys are forever in the gals debt....and they know it! :-)

    ... Theater, Lewis Hotel--from the 1700 and 1800 period when the Mission San Francisco and fort were around. Sonoma----Valley of the Moon. the drive back from Sonoma to Napa was as picturesque as most of the loop drive we had been on today. Another good day to be out and about.
