We met Grandma Fran at the S.F. airport, the following day we went to see Blake's graduation from Berkeley, it was wonderful. He is marvelous. Afterward we stayed in Sonoma for the weekend, ate delicious food and visited Jack London state park. I will write more poetic details in the future.

Another beautiful day here in the Valley and we are off to Sonoma to see what we can find. Thanks to our friend Marianne from Hilton Head (who was just here a week before us) we have a hint on which are the best wineries to see.
Our first stop is in the town of Sonoma for a quick cup of coffee and a brioche and raspberry pastry at the Basque Boulangerie Cafe! Great place - you'll see it.
