... lean meats. An inexpensive meal at $9.00/plate, we were quickly sated and on our way.
As we continued in and out of the shops working our way to our goal destination, we were stunned again as we bumped into Bill and Clemente's friend Gary and his companions. It just seems that everywhere we go, we bump into someone or stumble upon something that links us all tighter together. This is the oddest yet most wonderful trip. And all I can say is that ...

No Wifi sorry! We got to Santa Barbara late, the drive out of Santa Monica at peak hour and up the freeway in the dark was hair raising!
In the morning Arrigo lobbied hard for a swim in the pool, and it was a beautiful morning, spent splashing in a warm outdoor pool with Fed, Arrigo and I. It certainly felt like the start of our holiday. We visited the Santa Barbara mission, and had lunch on the lawn, it was a peaceful ...

... some more coffee, hot chocolate and cookies at the reception and bid farewell. Hilfra bought a couple of items from the shop and declared she loved it here. The supermarket was called Store and Final. Strange name, but it served our needs. We got rolls, turkey and Pringles and headed towards our next destination.

We followed highway 1 towards Santa Barbara. We had to hear all about Hilfra's new friend Lisa that she met at the pool a couple ...
