    ... cookies. Each bakery and restaurant has a pyramid of tubs of Danish butter cookies. They range from $13.95 to $15.95. The trick is in determining how many in a tub. Some went by weight and some identified quantity. It is worth waiting to make your purchases because it is never too far to return to another bakery if you had something specific in mind. A few gift shops, a bamboo clothing/bedding shop, and (Marilyn's favourite) a Del Sol T-shirt shop ...

    ... One of Patti's books describes them as looking like a frisbee designed by Salvador Dali! This one was about three foot across and laying on it's side. Which is what they do. We missed hitting it by inches. They can get to be 10 feet and weigh 3000 pounds or more. We had never seen one before so it was a very exciting thing to see!

    ... NZ but we weren't keen on that so said we'd need to think about it and continued to look round the shop. The assistant pointed out some interesting rings by local jeweller John Kennedy who uses onyx as his main stone. I was taken with a silver ring featuring blue onyx bars interspersed with gold rods.
