    ... There was an ATM machine in the restaurant in the back passage between loo and kitchen. Seems quite common round here. I listened to a local couple on the next table discussing the local water shortage, which is mega serious. Limit your garden, washing and shower use, now and forever, and drink the palatable bottled water from elsewhere, seems to be the message. Water really is Life around here.     ... cookies. Each bakery and restaurant has a pyramid of tubs of Danish butter cookies. They range from $13.95 to $15.95. The trick is in determining how many in a tub. Some went by weight and some identified quantity. It is worth waiting to make your purchases because it is never too far to return to another bakery if you had something specific in mind.
