We woke to a misty rain today. The sun of yesterday is behind clouds. But what better day to have rain if must. We lingered in at our motel then boarded the Radiance of the Seas at noon. Our last stop in Alaska was in Soldotna, where Carla and Nels live. As it was the peak of the sockeyed salmon fishing we were very glad to be joined by Nate, Allison and their children as well. Our days in Soldotna were spent fishing and cooking and enjoying some marvellous company. I have to admit that I did not fish, much to Marcelo's disappointment.
