    ... didn't bring an extra pair of shoes on my trip but when I realized my favorite shoes can compact down into nothing (like VANS) I couldn't resist. I can also get away with using these as a classier alternative when going to a club or fancy dinner.

    ... they have been eradicated! Both were extremely destructive to the landscape. Our other stop was at Middle Ranch and Little Harbor Overlook. Our guide has lived on Catalina for 35 years and was a wealth of knowledge. He had even been in a couple of movies as an extra. He told of several that were filmed on the island, but hey I'm old, can't remember which ones.

    ... at approx. $6.00 a bag and went to eat lunch. We then decided to keep trying the number and eventually got through and they said the place was ready to come pick up the key. We should have gone straight there and saved some money. This would've been a gamble but we ended up putting out 40 bucks to store our luggage unnecessarily for two hours.
