Tuesday brought us more fog but we waited for the ferry from Portland to tie up before we left Yarmouth Harbor. We were in fog all the way across the Bay of Fundy. We were in touch with the Fundy Traffic Control as we crossed the shipping channel and had to slow down for a LNG tanker to cross our bow about four miles in front of us but we never saw it. As we entered Seal Cove, we were still in the fog but as we proceeded in we were able to see some land ...

... Even when I broke my foot earlier this hike - it did not slow me down. This sucks! Mile 1,794.40 tonight. 390.90 to go, if my foot holds up. Thursday, Aug 07 2014 Woke up late, because I slep in. Then it started to rain, so we stayed at the shelter til around 2pm. There were a few Southbounders that came in and they called it a day - due to the rain. A mom and her two sons stopped by. She is doing all the big peaks with them as day hikes! What an awesome mom :) ...

... something that was local and not a chain food place. Catalano's pizza was a small wooden building by the side of the road in a small town called Carroll. It served a huge, homemade pizza (they were stretching the pizzas in front of the customers) which was out of this world, plus an enormous plate of fries. We simply couldn't finish either! And this was for the equivalent of about £14 for the both of us! The journey back to the hotel ...
