First stop: Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum. Ripley's has nothing to do with St. Augustine, but that doesn't keep it from being a popular attraction here. It bills itself as an "odditorium," and that's just about right. Some of the exhibits are curiosities, like the two-headed lamb (stuffed). Others are downright disgusting and won't be described here.

North of Charleston we made a pitstop and Ruth asked the quick mart attendants for a restaurant recommendation (not the first time we had done this and it was a huge success the last time). They recommended the SeeWee Restaurant about 8 miles up the road, in the direction we were headed anyway. We took their suggestion, and boy are we glad we did!!!
