    ... of this NP is underwater, it is well worth the visit. The history of the fort, the role it played in US history going back to the civil war, and the shear size and unbelievable construction of this building out in the middle of the ocean, made the visit very memorable.     North of Charleston we made a pitstop and Ruth asked the quick mart attendants for a restaurant recommendation (not the first time we had done this and it was a huge success the last time). They recommended the SeeWee Restaurant about 8 miles up the road, in the direction we were headed anyway. We took their suggestion, and boy are we glad we did!!!
