Sunny and 58 degrees. We had to turn on the furnace today as we are getting closer to Canada and moving away from the equator. Greeted to MacDonald's coffee and breakfast sandwich compliments of Jim. ... than three hours, She took us to Two Fat Cats Bakery where we tried our first whoopie pie!

Yes, there is a real whoopie pie (it's the official State Dessert for Maine!) and it's worthy of whooping about! A whoopie pie is two cakes, typically chocolate, filled with a creamy marshmallowy filling. Thankfully, they are sized for individual servings, but we shared ours to leave room for more delicacies yet to come our way.
